About us
about-designs began as a series of projects for a hospitality company back in 2014. Sonya was employed as an in-house interior designer at a New York City hotel brand designing their public spaces. Working for a florist/greenhouse during her college studies at The Fashion Institute of Technology left her with the perfect skills to style a photoshoot, design weekly floral arrangements and plant wall hung gardens. After a few months of working double time on both the interiors & decorative elements, Sonya brought in her sister Eva to help. One project led to another and soon a business was born. Sometimes the best things come from letting life take you where it wants to go.
